I have had fibromyalgia since I sprained my back at the age of 15. I have been through test after test for many years, on many medications, and have had many surgeries. It was not until I learned about the world of massage that my life changed drastically. I bought a massage chair seven years ago and started using it slowly, a couple minutes a day (or as much as I could handle). Then started adding minutes. I now do 5 to 20 minutes per day, as needed.
I am currently off of all my medications and doing so much better. Working full time for 4 years, I feel I have a lot more control of my life. Before using the massage chair, no one could even touch me I hurt so bad. When using the massage chair, you can put the rollers where you need it, loosening up the area. The massage chair broke up the huge knots in my back, taught me how to relax, and even gave me more energy. It has done wonders for my neck, shoulders, restless legs, and sciatic nerve. I am not healed of fibromyalgia, but I am feeling better than I have in a very long time. I believe we should have a massage everyday, no matter how we get it!
