Find a buddy if you wish to stay with your New Year’s intention of exercise success

Are you looking for a simple and fun way to dramatically improve your chances of staying with your goal to exercise the rest of your life? Get a partner to exercise with you!

According to a new study performed at the University of Indiana, people who exercise with their partners or with a friend “let go” of their exercise program only 6% of them time-however, those who went “solo” dropped out over 40% of the time. Good news for you! Being social creatures that we are, simply find someone who has a similar fitness goal, similar ability and go after it together!

January intentions are coming fast-seek to set intentions that inspire you-be grateful for the opportunity to choose and go for your best!

  1. Nice post. I always share with my clients suffering from depression that exercise is shown to be the #1 cure, ahead of psychotherapy or meds. (They probably need a consult with a naturopath as well!). This is a good article to share with them, because depression is also caused by isolation. Thanks!
