Hello World!

Welcome to the first of my monthly series of entries here at the Human Touch Wellness Council blog. My name is Shawn Dill, D.C. and I am proud to be the newest member of the Human Touch Wellness Council.

This partnership was a natural for me as I have been using Human Touch products in my practice for the past five years. I am proud to be associated with Human Touch and look forward to sharing some thoughtful and provocative information with you that will help you to make better health and wellness lifestyle choices.

My experience as a chiropractor first began in the beautiful country of Costa Rica. Upon graduation from Chiropractic College I opened my first practice in the capital city of San Jose. While there I built what many consider to be the largest upper cervical specific chiropractic practice in the world. Also, one of my greatest accomplishments was the authoring and passage of the law that currently regulates chiropractic practice in Costa Rica.

In 2004 I moved back to the United States where I began a full time faculty assignment with Life Chiropractic College West (www.lifewest.edu), in Hayward, California. My job duties at the College now include teaching and serving as the Director of The Institute for Advanced Care in Chiropractic.

I am also the owner of The Specific Chiropractic Center (www.thespecific.com), which now operates eight clinics around the United States.Dr Shawn dill

Ever since my return to practice in the United States I have utilized Human Touch Zero Gravity Chairs as a vital part of our post-adjustment recovery process in each of the clinics I oversee. I am excited to share with you my perspectives on health and wellness through my monthly postings here on the Human Touch Wellness Council blog.

In the meantime, please feel free to connect and interact with me through social media! I can be found on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/thespecific?ref=name or on Twitter at @shawndill.   Also, you can contact me through my website, www.shawndill.com.
