Julie began her practice as a bodyworker in 1983 after completing her studies at the Massage School of Santa Monica. She spent many years of her healing practice serving the film and music industries and traveling on tours with artists such as Madonna, George Michael and others, as well as providing her much needed bodywork treatments on the sets and studios of movies, TV shows, music videos, TV commercials and music recording sessions. She loves using her Human Touch® HT-7450 massage chair to complement her wellness lifestyle and understands the importance of caring for oneself and using therapeutic oils and massage to relax.
I know most of us are accustomed to using essential oils mostly topically. Most of the time, I use oils before sitting in my Human Touch® massage chair. They work wonderfully to sooth my skin and help me to unwind before enjoying the ultimate benefits of the massage. When sitting in my Human Touch® massage chair, I will also diffuse oils and breathe them in, while I feel the gentle kneading from my chair take care of the any stress I feel.
Did you also know that oils could be used in food preparation? I just made a wonderful Frittata with eggs, potatoes, pesto, cheese and I put 3 drops of Dill oil to my egg batter and it tasted absolutely delicious! Oils like Marjoram, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Basil, Oregano, Thyme & Clove take food to another level!
I also always put Young Living Lemon or Citrus Fresh oils in my water as oils help to purify the water and they taste so good. This helps me to drink more water. Also lemon oil helps the system to keep genuinely alkalined. In the summer when it gets very hot, I will add 1-2 drops of peppermint oil in my water and it will drop my body temperature by at least 10 degrees.
My other favorite way to use the Young Living oils is to put them into my bath water. This is a heavenly way to relax after a long day at work. Oils will not mix with water. You must get a handful of Epsom salts and then put your desired oils into the salts and empty this into the bath water. Then the oils will evenly disperse. I love using oils like Sacred Mountain, Lavender, Peace & Calming and Joy.
It is very important when using oils internally (like in food prep, or in your water) to use ONLY Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils. Young Living oils are the finest, cleanest, purest oils I have ever known or used in my many years of utilizing oils in my healing work.
So check it out and enjoy the many ways you can use your oils.
