How Human Touch® helps PGA Pro Tim Clark, to Maintain Wellness
by Tim Clark
I hope this blog finds everything going well with my fans. Thus far 2011 has been a frustrating season as I have continued to struggle with a nagging elbow injury. After finishing second at the Sony Open in January, I have only played two events—the Masters and the TPC. Recently, the elbow is beginning to feel better, so I am hopeful to be back playing in July. On a personal level, the injury has given me some time at home to spend with my wife and newborn son, Jack.
In assessing my elbow injury and looking at other injured golfers (like Tiger Woods) it is interesting to analyze how injuries occur and what steps can be taken to avoid them. I linked up with Human Touch chairs in 2008, and I think their chairs have been very helpful for me in maintaining a healthy body. In addition, getting the proper rest, utilizing soft tissue massage, maintaining a good diet and some level of cardiovascular endurance are also important.
In looking to the summer months, I am excited to get healthy and back on the course. My friend Luke Donald got injured in 2008 and he claims that the time away really allowed him to refocus. Recently, Luke achieved the #1 ranking in the world. Hopefully, my time away will give me the same refreshed outlook.
Best in health and wellness to you!
