Yes, I know you probably have lots of these already. Extended stress can give so many health problems, which is why many doctors today say stress is the number one culprit for human health problems even cancer, chronic inflammation, IBS, obesity and much more.
Here is the good tip from the teachings of Zen Buddhism.
Be a good observer on your every emotions and thoughts. Be aware of them.
The main idea is when you are experiencing high stress, you are able to detach yourself from the situation and look at it as a third party rationally, not emotionally so you can cope better with that situation.
Don’t forget deep breathing. With deep breathing, you can sense your emotions and thoughts, and begin to feel your heart beat slowly reduce its rate. The profuse sweating will stop and your mind will be clear and think better and react better with this stressful situation.
If you find yourself at home you can sit on your Perfect Chair® for 15 minutes, reclining it back to zero-gravity. In this position you are completely relaxed, and you will feel your muscles start to immediately let go. Allow your mind to be clear and enjoy the nice, quiet atmosphere to reduce your stress levels. However, if you find yourself at work just take 5 minutes from your hectic schedule, find a quiet empty place and practice your deep breathing to reduce your stress. Remember, a stress free life is a better life!
