More than any other time of year, spring brings a sense of personal restoration that is reflected in our environment through the green, lush, prolific power of resurgent plant energy, so full of burgeoning life and boundless possibilities. This initiating energy is welcomed after emerging from the introspection of winter, a time of rest and internal reflection.  We can capture this renewing energy by using the fragrance of nature to bring that potency into our beings through the use of pure plant essential oils, especially those sourced from blooming flowers – the pure representation of spring itself. These scents characterize the epitome of what the spring season embodies – the essence of life and the supreme potential of how we can manifest our own powerful energies and contribute in the world.

Spring Blossoming Blend: 4 neroli; 3 lavender; 2 jasmine; 1 ylang

Blend these 10 drops of essential oils together, add to one ounce of unscented lotion and use on your body with the intention of manifesting your new cycle of hopes and dreams. You can also add this blend to 4 ounces of water in a misting bottle  and spray into the air, renewing the scent of a house closed up against the winter cold; or add to two tablespoons of coconut oil, using half in a bath for the ultimate ritual of spring renaissance.

Better yet, lie in the Human Touch massage chair and let the rhythm of the kneading waves intermingle with the diffused aromas; breathe in the scent, allowing Mother Nature to work her magic and every cell to assimilate the revitalizing energy that floats upon the wind. Together they are sure to help you reach your balanced, abundant and creative best as we enter a new cycle of compelling intentions for a better future. This will surely facilitate the process for us to bloom into our best selves.

To my fans and fellow Human Touch devotees…I hope this blog post finds you well.

I am excited to get my season under way in the next few weeks.  Following surgery in August to repair a detached tendon in my elbow, I have been doing some extensive rehab and really taking care of myself.

This week I am in Tampa for my second event of the year—the Transitions Championship.  I also plan to play next week in the Tavistock Cup and the Arnold Palmer Invitational.  The next two weeks will be a good test to see exactly where my game stands.

In terms of my health, I am pleased with the progress of my elbow.  Although my scores at the Northern Trust Open were a bit surprising, my elbow and body held up for most of the week.  While on the road my therapist is doing a great job in helping bring my body back to competitive from.  While at home, my Human Touch chair has played a significant role in my recovery.  I use the chair on a near daily basis, usually after a strenuous rehab session, which has greatly increased my blood circulation and overall wellness.  In addition, it is nice to have a proven solution for my day-to-day aches and pains.

As always, I appreciate you guys taking the time to read my blog post.  I hope to have some improved results to share following the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

It’s no secret that having a child with a chronic illness puts unimaginable stress on a family. In my clinic, I make it a priority to provide parents with a peaceful and positive waiting room environment. I have a number of Human Touch chairs facing monitors that stream positive presentations with powerful affirmations or famous quotes that are geared to shift the way people think and increase wellness.

While they wait they’re not only receiving a treatment in the massage chair, they’re also getting words of wisdom to help reframe their outlook.

Immersion Seating™ - ZeroG™ 2.0 Immersion Massage Chair

I’ve noticed that the mothers of my patients are usually the first in the Human Touch chairs, allowing for a moment of respite from the exhaustive efforts of caring for a sick child.

In my practice I see a lot of children struck with muscular dystrophy, so I’m able to see firsthand the positive and therapeutic impact these robotic massage system chairs have on kids that have difficulty sitting upright. While I work to treat the child, they receive the additional beneficial results of the massage chair.

As far as these parents are concerned, the child’s disease process has a direct impact on the entire family. The mother of one of my Duchenne muscular dystrophy patients was struggling energetically so I loaned her one of my chairs to provide some additional support.

I personally use the chair almost every day for back pain relief and to just unwind and apply the principals that I’m utilizing in my clinic for my patients. Being a good doctor is more about providing treatment in the office. It’s also about serving as a model for health and overall wellbeing. I use the chair to help me practice what I preach, in addition to reducing my own muscle tension and stress.

My practice is a physical one, providing wall adjustments to people of all different sizes, from 50 pounds to 350 pounds.  By the time I’ve completed my busy day, I’ve seen maybe 35 patients and I’ve done over 100 wall adjustments. My Human Touch chair provides an immersion wellness experience and relief after hours of stress and strain on my own body. After practicing for 21 years, it makes a big difference.

I’ve also seen how important these Human Touch chairs are for seniors. It’s an easy way to relieve stress throughout their bodies from head to toe, and they can do other things while they’re resting and getting treatment.  They can read a book, work on their computer, make a phone call.  You can do anything you would like in a Human Touch massage chair.

Human Touch chairs are a great supplement to chiropractic care; each enhances the impact of the other. I’ve also seen many people who have purchased chairs and greatly reduced their need for consistent chiropractic care.

These innovative chairs help to reduce the muscle stress associated with severe muscle imbalance, which often means they are having muscle spasm throughout their body. When the muscle stress is reduced, the person’s mobility will improve. In the cases of seniors, adults, and children alike, increased mobility plays a big role in overall quality of life.

People look at massage as rejuvenation, as a luxury.  They think, “Wow, I’m going to get a massage, how exciting. “  It’s doing something for themselves that provides relief and enhances wellbeing. It’s not always easy to set aside a little time in our busy lives for ourselves, but it’s worth a lot.  Most people can, and should, find 15 minutes to treat themselves and provide for enhanced wellness. These massage chairs enable people to alleviate pain and escape stress so they can feel better and enjoy more productive lives.

I’ve been using Human Touch robotic massage system products for seven years. It’s incredible to think the amount I would have spent on the thousands of massages that I’ve received from my chair; massages can go for up to $100 an hour.

People often strive to achieve unattainable amounts of wealth – only to realize that once your health goes, money doesn’t buy you anything. Incorporating Human Touch into your routine promotes a healthy balance of mind, body and spirit, and maximizes overall health and wellness.

If there was ever a time to enjoy the finer things in life, it is certainly most earned and deserved during your senior years. Treating yourself to a relaxing massage and beautiful aromatics are two wonderful pampering techniques to soothe the soul and any find bodily relief from the aches and pains that come with a life fully lived. What better compensation is there than enjoying the Human Touch massage chair while inhaling a wonderful aroma direct from nature? Being able to utilize this chair from the comfort of your home at any time of the day or night provides relaxation on demand. The added bonus of nature’s aroma can transport you emotionally to a vacation paradise, or trigger a memory of a great experience previously relished.

There are multiple benefits to inhaling pleasant scents – the least of which is that the simple act of deep breathing can reduce stress – a trickle-down ailment that accounts for an estimated 75 to 90 percent of doctor visits. Stress reduction is recommended in every physical or mental ailment ever diagnosed. If all doctors’ orders included massage and aromatherapy, we would all be on our way to better health; luckily no prescription is needed.

Many oils have been studied to reduce tension and promote relaxation, such as the citrus oils, lavender, geranium, neroli and ylang.  You can apply up to five drops of any single note or any combination of these natural essential oils to a candle diffuser, or simple apply a few drops to a tissue and breathe in while enjoying the hands-free action of the Human Touch massage chair as it gently rolls up and down the spine, massages your calves or jumps cat-like across your shoulders. I sometimes use different aromas with different settings. For instance, try rosemary or eucalyptus during the stimulating action that invigorates muscles, or customize lavender or orange for the slow relaxing movement that releases tension. Now that ought to keep you young and stress free!
